Flooding in Houston

President Hall sent this note out this morning:

Dear Parents,

The Houston area was hit with heavy rains last night and this morning and the entire metro area has been asked to stay off the roads until the storm passes and the flooding subsides. All missionaries are safe and accounted for, but they will be unable to leave their apartments until we give them clearance to do so.  Unless they are in the southern area of the mission, or have an internet connection in their apartment complex, you will not likely receive an email from them until later today or possibly tomorrow. I will communicate updates to you on our mission website, http://www.texashoustonsouthmission.com as more information becomes available to us.  Please check it later this morning and then early this afternoon if you'd like to know our status.  We are unable to get to the mission office to answer the phones so email is our best communication tool for now.  Many thanks and keep the Houston area in your prayers.  We will provide a lot of much needed help and service in the coming days.

Susan has never seen a flood before.  I hope she's loving it, and I hope she sends pictures!
